2005 Fair Lady Catherine Award “Life Time Achievement”
‘It has been a while since we’ve seen a range from Marianne Fassler, but her sizzling new collection has been well worth the wait. Fassler is on top form, with vibrant combinations of colour, pattern and texture. Layered tulle skirts, detailed with sequined Lesotho hats, twinned with patchworked, figure-hugging tops and sheer , printed caftans, exude an exuberant Africanism that never descends into cliché. Even her trademark touches of leopard print are fresh and contemporary.’
